The Cambridge Telescope. - The new Telescope at Cambridge is found to answer all the high anticipations which have been entertained in regard to it. The wonderful nebula in the Constellation of Orion, has recently been subjected to the scrutiny of Mr. Bond through this Telescope, and it has fully yielded to the power of the admirable instrument. The capacity of the Telescope is thus shown to be equal if not superior to the famous instrument of Lord Rosse, the great power of which this nebula so long resisted.

Das Teleskop von Cambridge. - Das neue Teleskop in Cambridge erfüllt alle hochgesteckten Erwartungen, die man an es geknüpft hat. Der wunderbare Nebel im Sternbild des Orion wurde vor kurzem von Herrn Bond durch dieses Teleskop untersucht und hat sich der Leistung des bewundernswerten Instruments voll und ganz unterworfen. Die Leistungsfähigkeit des Teleskops erweist sich damit als gleichwertig, wenn nicht gar überlegen gegenüber dem berühmten Instrument von Lord Rosse, dessen großer Kraft dieser Nebel so lange widerstanden hat.
