JENNY LIND's sixth concert in New York was more crowded than the last, though Castle Garden was then reported to have been filed to its utmost capacity. The ball was one solid mass of human beings, and Jenny, who was charmed by the splendor and grandeur of the scene, sung with more than her usual inspiration, and was received with even heartier and warmer applause; every piece was encored - a circumstance, by the by, which, though agreeable to an audience, and flattering, no doubt, to a singer, is rather oppressive when carried too far. At the close of the programme, Bartum came forward and announced that the seventh concert would be given in the new Musical Hall, on Monday, October 6th, and that they would be continued thereafter until all in the city and neighborhood had had an opportunity to her Mad'Ile Lind.
