My favourite pieces that I love to work with and that I enjoy using. — They have character, although they are only machines or tools - simple objects. The character of the object is the sum of what I know about them and feel for them.

I think one could speak of character there. Every machine has its own personal, unique character, which you could probably define as the intuitive sum of what you know and feel about it.

A beautiful sharpening station for TK pencils in vintage look was created in my workshop as a gift for a friend. TK pencils are an environmentally friendly alternative to wooden pencils. Unfortunately, good sharpeners have become rare.
